Cosplay Fashion Show FAQ

1. When and where is it?

4 p.m. Saturday, September 23, in the main event room. The exact room name will be in the con schedule.

2. Why is it called a fashion show?

It is not a competition. This is an opportunity for you to show off your cosplay to fans who want to see cosplays.

3. Who may enter?

Anyone wearing a cosplay may enter. Original or recreation cosplay is welcome.

4. Are there any restrictions on types of cosplays?

Cosplays should adhere to local decency laws and be appropriate for a family audience.

5. Can I wear a bought cosplay?

Yes. All cosplays, home made or purchased, are welcome.

6. May I take a cosplay weapon into the show?

Yes, but not just the weapon. You need to wear a cosplay that the weapon goes with and the weapon will have to have been okayed by con registration.

5. Do I need to sign up ahead of time?

No. Just show up at the assigned room at 4 p.m. We will then get everyone into line to go on stage.

5. What if my costume will prevent me from getting up on stage.

In that case, we will have you present your costume in front of the stage.

6. Do I have to speak on stage?

No. We will ask you if you want to and if you don’t, We will write down the name of your cosplay for the M.C. to announce.
